Tuesday Television #10 #FixThePlus

                                  Preacher

I decided to try out watching Preacher. There has been plenty of advertising so I thought what the heck, why not? I was pleasantly surprised when the story starts off with a Vampire whom I find to have entertaining quips in an Irish brogue which I love to hear, This show runs on a Supernatural theme introducing the characters one by one. I will watch the next show.

Television Tuesdays #FixThePlus

Welcome to the start of Television Tuesdays. Here you can find a show or shows that I have watched and felt worthy of sharing. I have chosen Couchtuner as my go to the online website, it has been really reliable.
I'm so happy I can still watch SyFy loving every show they air. No commercials are the best perk watching online and wonderful for season bingeing.

Thursdays Are For Trivia #FixThePlus

You will need to click on my post to see the answer.

The court was once a spare room to house journals, but sometime in the 1940s, the justices converted it into a gym with a basketball court. A sign at the court's entrance reads, “Do not assume court is over. No basketball while court is being held." The Supreme Court Building was designated a National Historic Landmark on May 4th, 1987.
Did you know that one? I didn't.

Monday At The Movies #FixThePlus

Here are some of the movies I have watched over time and hopefully you will find something that you will enjoy as well.

Ashley Benson as Emma
"Emma, a graduate student living alone in NYC, is being watched by a stalker who hacks into the technology that surrounds her – laptop, cell phone, and other web connected devices. This obsession continues to grow as the hacker records Emma’s most intimate moments. When the thrill of watching isn’t enough, the situation escalates to a   dangerous and terrifying level".

In the autumn of 1900, outlaw Claude Barbee puts his ‘retirement plan’ in action, attempting
to lead his train-robbing gang across Texas to recover a cash stash hidden after a botched
railroad heist. They soon discover they’re being hunted by more than just the law – but
rather a merciless, unexpected evil quite possibly greater than themselves.

What do you like best in a movie or on-line entertainment shows?

Here is some movie trivia you may or may not know.

5. The sounds made by the Brontosaurs in Jurassic Park were a combination of whale and donkey sounds.

It's Going To Be a Chilly Valentine's Day

Sunday is Valentine's Day. I love the way time zooms on by, you look at the Calendar and presto, there's another holiday, in this case, being Valentine's Day.

Pretty cool it landed on a Sunday for the working folks and all around just plain everybody. I personally like to take advantage of the candy sales although at this point I won't be doing any candy sale shopping for the start of March will start watching what I eat.

My earliest memory of Valentine's Day was in grade school where students would either make or our mother's would buy Valentine's Day cards. I remember moving to San Deigo, California when I was eight years old and having a big Valentine's Day card sent to me from my third-grade class and teacher.

My family did end up moving back to Palm Springs, I kept that Valentine Card for a long time.

I thought I would look up Valentine stuff, as inspiration for this post, coming across this link of how cold it will be this weekend. Stay inside with your pets and eat candy. Sounds like Halloween!

The links below are for anyone who procrastinates myself being a big fan of. Either I procrastinate or I'm done way ahead of time. I hope this can give you some ideas.

Happy Valentines Day early to everyone. May it be a nice, warm, relaxing day for all.

Happy Chinese New Year!

As Beijing celebrates, the Chinese New Year party in London will be the biggest outside of Asia. Here's your guide to the celebrations.
This year, Chinese New Year - The Year of the Monkey - begins on February 8th and lasts until Jan 27th, 2017.
Celebrations have started around the world, as London waits to join the festivities on Monday.
People have gathered at one of Hong Kong's best-known temples - the Wong Tai Sin - to make their new year wishes.

I would love to join in the festivities of the Chinese New Year party, it looks so colorful. I went to see what my Chinese Sign was and it's the dog.

What is Your Chinese Zodiac Animal Sign? Click on the link to find out. I love stories so do tell.

Men: Go Team Go! Women: Look At All The Cute Butts

Superbowl Sunday is finally here. Carolina Panthers and the Denver Broncos.

Super Bowl 2016: Time, TV schedule, the halftime show, prop bets, odds, online streaming and more.
Click on the above link and have some fun.

Chicken Wings, Chips & Dips, Soda and Beer, hard stuff too will be just some of the goodness you will find at a Superbowl party.

I found this interesting:

The online sportsbook Bovada.lv has an extensive list of Super Bowl prop bets, ranging from the mundane to the absurd. Some of the simple ones include the coin toss, which team will score first and who wins the MVP. You can also wager on more ludicrous things, such as will there be an earthquake during the game, how many times will "dab" or "dabbing" be said by the announcers and will Peyton Manning be seen crying during the broadcast.

There's also an annual prop bet before the game even kicks off: the length of the national anthem. This year, Lady Gaga will sing "The Star-Spangled Banner" and Bovada.lv set the time at 2 minutes, 20 seconds. Last year's singer, Idina Menzel, went over the mark with a time of 2:04.

Whether you are alone, with a buddy, crammed in a bar, or at a big party, have a wonderful football day.

What's your favorite Superbowl memory? I love stories so do tell.
