How To Lick The Rest Of May #FixThePlus

How to lick the rest of May? Buy a delicious
raspberry ice cream cone and lick away!

Yesterday my family had an all day outing to see an Occupational Therapist which took one and a half hours to get there, another four hours of testing, then the drive home.

The best part was stopping at an Ice Cream stand to get our treat.

Now THATS how you should travel and lick the rest of May!

A super nice Rest Area on the way to Burlington.

Same place.

What are you going to do to 'lick' the rest of may?

Tuesday Television #10 #FixThePlus

                                  Preacher

I decided to try out watching Preacher. There has been plenty of advertising so I thought what the heck, why not? I was pleasantly surprised when the story starts off with a Vampire whom I find to have entertaining quips in an Irish brogue which I love to hear, This show runs on a Supernatural theme introducing the characters one by one. I will watch the next show.

Television Tuesdays #FixThePlus

Welcome to the start of Television Tuesdays. Here you can find a show or shows that I have watched and felt worthy of sharing. I have chosen Couchtuner as my go to the online website, it has been really reliable.
I'm so happy I can still watch SyFy loving every show they air. No commercials are the best perk watching online and wonderful for season bingeing.

Thursdays Are For Trivia #FixThePlus

You will need to click on my post to see the answer.

The court was once a spare room to house journals, but sometime in the 1940s, the justices converted it into a gym with a basketball court. A sign at the court's entrance reads, “Do not assume court is over. No basketball while court is being held." The Supreme Court Building was designated a National Historic Landmark on May 4th, 1987.
Did you know that one? I didn't.

My Actual Trip To Morrisville

Today I get out of the house. It's to see a Doctor for my Disability Claim but that's okay. I'm out and it's going to be a nice day. I'm looking forward to the drive to Morrisville where I have never been.

I use a service called R.C.T. You call ahead to schedule a trip and presto, you can get to wherever you need to go. As long as it's medically related of course. It's a great service for those of us who can't really afford a vehicle. Our time will come.

The driver arrives and we're off. I can be quite chatty with the driver's using them as long as we have of course as in all things some are chattier than others. But all are polite.

I had been up all night unable to sleep making me a tad on the groggy side getting
through that appointment was no mean feat when all I wanted to do was drink a coffee and stare out into space!

I still managed to take a couple of pictures, bonus a picture of a cemetery on  my little adventure although when all was said and done it felt like it was a dream.

My photo that I took had too much reflection so I 'borrowed' this one. It's in the same place though.

I love learning new words or being reintroduced to one. I ran across a list of them and will add a word a day.

Word#52 Limpid: simple, transparent, serene

In a sentence: The day became limpid from lack of sleep.

This message is not from our service provider unless you want to count that as me. This is a recycled post:)

Travel To A New Town...Before (This is a recycled blog made all brand new and shiney) #FixThePlus

Tomorrow I go to Morrisville for the very first time. I always look forward to going somewhere different this drive will be about an hour.

Social Security wants me to have a physical with 'their' doctor. And we all know what that usually means.

I tried looking at MapQuest but quickly gave that search up to my husband. He finds out it's forty five minutes away.

At first I was excited going somewhere new but going around the table to see his monitor it's very small but pretty in a small town way. Small is how most of this towns are.

Okay, I put my camera on top of my purse so I can show pictures of this brand new never before been town. I'll post pictures tomorrow. Tomorrow will take up about half my day. I'm getting out! Yippie!
