Copyright This!

Hello, and how are you today, or should I say night. I'm sitting here after about two hours learning about how to stay out of trouble looking into  copyright policies.  I have, and the sites I visited did mention to be careful about 'stealing' another's (what happened to share?) ideas whether it be photos, art, music, anything you can imagine. They are right about one of their points about being on the web for as long as I have you can get lax and let your guard down.

Now I know the most obvious rule. 'Give credit where it is due' showing the link of the website you want to share what you have learned. My own 'rude awakening' was an email from Pinterest. They had to take down some of my pictures that I had pinned. I was under the impression if it shows that little red pin logo in the corner or anywhere around it, it's okay to pin it. Except on Facebook, they make it very clear you can't use their photos and you can't automatically, evidently someone complained and I'm glad all that happened where the offending photos were taken off my board.

So I decided to take a deep breath cos I hate studying this crap and really anything at all, telling myself do it when your nice and alert for only about two hours, which I did. >patting self on back< So I actually learned how to do what it takes to find infringement free photos which I will share what I found for information and for free images. I had no idea after all these years at the bottom right-hand side on Google there are three links to use. Privacy Terms and Settings. This is after you call up Google and click on 'images'. Then you can custom click what you actually want. What a deal.

The thing is for the next few days rest of my life, I will be taking, at least, an hour out of my day to follow up on all this stuff.

Excuse Me My Pictures Have Seemed To Disappear.

Just to let everyone know, I'm going to be replacing my pictures so ignore the loud banging of construction. It's going to be done a little at a time so please try and bear with me.

The lesson for the day, be sure to check your blog daily to make sure everything is still  the way you left it.

I vaguely remember deleting some pictures, not from my posts but on Picasa so now I will be very careful about what I delete from here on. I didn't realize everywhere was connected with Google.

This is what I asked after going to Blogger help: Pictures have disappeared from my blog,
replaced with a gray minus sign.

This is what they asked:
Please answer all 8 Questions.

NOTE: All photos that you upload via blogger are stored in Picasa

1) Have you made any changes to Picasa Settings/Permissions?
2) Did you upload the photos yourself or did someone else upload them?
3) When was the last time that the images displayed correctly?
4) Did you remove them from Picasa?
5) Have you made any changes to any of your Google/Blogger accounts?
6) Have you used/removed them from Google+
7) If you go to your Picasa Albums (https://picasaweb.google.com/home) Do you see the photos?
8) Have your deleted them from your Phone/Tablet?

Removing images from any of these will result in the Blog Images being deleted. You can try to ask in the Picasa Forum to see if they have an "Undelete" feature but last time I checked they did not.

You can access the Picasa Forums here

Here We Go Again! #FixThePlus *

I had to step away from my blogging for a short while.

I told my husband I was feeling scattered  and unorganized.

So he sat down next to me and he helped me to decide to combine all the blogs I had started into one Blog and just post on the one which made me feel a whole lot better!

After all, I'm just starting out and sometimes I go for the big picture before I have even learned the steps to get the big picture!

After all, this is supposed to be fun.

So I have taken each blog and broke the posts for each one and put the post on a notepad.

My desktop is three rows deep but for tonight, I am going to finally relax and watch some HBO Mermaids.

Giving my brain a break for the night!

Do you ever feel scatterbrained?
