Here is what I love to do, watch movies, scheduled shows, news and sports all for free on my computer. When we move I will have my shows streamed to my television. That will be a special treat on the 'big screen.' I have become used to no commercials becoming quite spoiled in that area. Plus I can binge if I wanna. Monday's Entertainment #FixThePlus

Yesterday was my day of rest...sorta. I did do some blog related stuff, cleaned a little, did my dishes, basically sat back and binge watched The Vampire Diaries. I finished off Season 7 which kept me up until 5am in the morning.

Just in time to hear this one bird chirp over and over and over again, let's not forget the Woodpecker which sounded like that bird was right out my window. Needless to say, I'm a tad bleary eyed, but well satisfied.

I waited purposely for Season 7 to be done so I could binge on vampires, the drama was something else. Surprising alliances were made, partnerships kept changing enough to keep me going. Just  one  more episode I kept telling myself.

Even if your not into horror, gore and bloodsucking, this show does have a story that didn't get boring, at least to me. So give it a try.

I was turned on to http://www.couchtuner.ag/ and found this site to be of good quality. Just follow the instructions if you become stuck.

Monday's Movie's How To Watch The Long-Awaited Game Of Thrones

Finally, The Game Of Thrones. I have watched every single show and like all great series it took what seemed like a lifetime for April 17th to come. It's like a dream, is it real you ask? Yes for all you Game Of Thrones fans it's very, very real.

Spoilers for the season premiere of Game of Thrones are below. 

The sixth season premiere of Game of Thrones, titled "The Red Woman," ended with a major shocker for viewers, as the titular character — the Lady Melisandre — revealed that she's been keeping a very big secret since she first appeared on the series.
As unveiled in the episode's final scene, Melisandre has been keeping her appearance magically disguised all along. Her true visage isn't that of 39-year-old actress Carice van Houten — instead, she is immensely older.

A Christmas Horror Story

I know, it's way after Christmas but I have been waiting to see this for a while now. I LOVED IT. It had a mixture of horror, the supernatural and comedy. That's if your not too busy covering your eyes. Remember folks, it's all make-believe.

I loved the idea of elf zombies which I personally have never seen before, the makeup was fantastic.

This movie brought a whole new level of the phase "naughty or nice" seemingly it doesn't really matter which one you are. William Shatner does a great job as a DJ making me chuckle all through the movie.

The ending of A Christmas Horror Story was a nice twist where the whole story was tied up neatly in a big red Christmas bow. I would watch it again.

Monday Movies/On-Line Entertainment

Welcome to Monday At The Movies. I wanted to post a little earlier but I had forgotten an appointment I had today.

I'm really happy I made this choice to make a special day for one of my favorite hobbies. The two shows I have been watching is The Returned and Z-Nation.

Plus I had a photoshoot which was real cheap with my husband which I went around and changed my profile pictures on my various social media networks. Facebook, G+, Twitter, Photobucket (which I have just started back up) and Pinterest.

The Returned Season 2- I really like the idea of a supernatural show where the dead come back to live years after they have died not knowing the details of what happened to them. Each character has his or her own story with each episode leaving you curious about the next one. Good thing I'm a night owl! This won't be a spoiler alert, I feel the show is well-written having just enough variety to keep you wanting more.

Z-Nation Season 2- is one of the newer zombie shows that has had me chuckling through the episodes. The story is uniquely different from your more traditional zombie shows even seeing a zombaby birth! (Kinda) Aliens, green-houses, Indians are just some of the fun you get to watch involving our dear friend the brain muncher. Have a look and find out for yourself.

Shake That 8-Ball!

After a very serious day on my computer okay, I had a few laughs and looked at some of those never ending pictures of cats & kittens, I have made a decision...

Way back, now I sound like a five-year-old remarking (when I was younger) I tried out naming my posts by the days of the week. I remember after two days I developed writer's block staring out into space dreamily.

I think I was trying to channel ideas. Pretty sure I had astonished myself thinking omg what have I done?

My husband, Grandpa Rose (he is the grounded one) suggests that maybe that's too much for me all at once. Okay,  this time, I will listen to him and I stopped to start randomly blogging again.

After all, there is just so much I love to explore and I want to share it all. (That sounded better in my head standing on a mountain top with my arms spread).

Anyways, everyone has a list of their favorite subjects. Top of my list is Movies and T.V. series that I watch on-line. The voices in my head are in a good mood and Sharon my alter ego asks me why don't you include Movies and Tv shows in your blogging? It IS a big part of your life...hmmm?

To which I reply "hot damn"! what a great idea (as if I didn't think of that already) best not to mention that, though. So I agree to 'one' day that is geared to one of my interests not being exactly reviews but what I'm thinking during my shows.

What? Grandpa Rose just told me that 'is' a review. Oh well there then. So stay tuned for Monday Movies which will include T.V. series, the sites where you can watch for free, no commercials, maybe a couple of ads depending on what adblocker you have.

This blogging business can be fun as long as you don't pile it on too fast. At least for me.

TerribleTuesday

Welcome to TerribleTuesday's first post. I know it's a little later in the morning and I am figuring out how to overcome this little hiccup to compensate being a 'night owl' which will be to post ahead. Polishing up my blogging style is coming along what seems like a herd of turtles I like to say.

It's the first of December, to my amazement we have  no snow, as of yet. I say this very quietly  so Mother Nature won't hear me and let those snowflakes fly.

In honor of December 25th, Christmas, my first movie review is Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas which I highly recommend you watch.

And I quote from Wikipedia, The Nightmare Before Christmas, often promoted as Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas, is a 1993 American stop motion dark fantasy musical film directed by Henry Selick, and produced and conceived by Tim Burton. It tells the story of Jack Skellington, a character from "Halloween Town" who opens a portal to "Christmas Town" and decides to celebrate the holiday, with some dastardly and comical consequences. Danny Elfman wrote the film score. The principal voice cast includes Chris Sarandon, Kath Soucie, Jess Harnell, Ken Page, Paul Reubens and Glenn Shadix.

On one of my boards on Pinterest, which you can find the Pinterest button on the my blog's right sidebar, I have a board for 'Movies, Mostly Horror' if you would like any other suggestions for a movie to watch. I have watched them all.

Tales From The Crypt was the first horror movie I ever watched. I was eight years old, my father and I went to the Drive-in in his truck, it was 1966 (man I feel old now) and I remember peeking over a pillow as I watched which at that age I thought was a horribly scary movie.

What was the first or scariest film you ever watched? I love stories so do tell.

Creepy Places

I know Halloween is over but for me it's an all year addition. I really love watching movies. You take a look at my Pinterest and the movies I have pinned there is not even a drop in the bucket of all the movies I have watched.

I am officially caught up with American Horror Show Hotel waiting for Ep. 5. This time, I decided to investigate like my husband does all the time, various parts of the movie starting off with the Hotel Cortez. Yes, it's haunted.

And then like all well-written blogs I started going from link to link learning about the serial killers the actors were portraying which was very interesting. I love those actors, they can be anyone they want.

Jessica Lang is gone and left some well acted Seasons behind, but I'm loving Lady GaGa's character as a vampire. Who knew she could act as well as sing and dance. I will be waiting impatiently for the next episode.

South Carolina is getting all of California's rain. Seeing I was raised in California, I'm sad to see the changes that drought does to the lakes and scenery, not to mention I have memories of growing up in the desert of Palm Springs so I remember boiling hot but the pools always had water in them. Some of the homes still do I saw on Sky-Cam. Looks weird surrounded by dead vegetation.

Everywhere is different now weather wise. At least the places I know. We have this beautiful Maple tree out in the front yard. I decided to record it for forever and have been taking a picture once a day to show how quickly it turns Fall around here. I have a few pictures of the hills but from talking to some of the people that grew up here, the weather has been different for a long time. I notice this but don't really address it and when I do, I have a blog I can go too. The pictures will come after all the leaves are gone off the "ole Maple tree.

I saw where they did Chuck's surgery. At the initial "ew" I got in close for a better look. That's what I've been up to for the last few days helping best I can with my inflictions. I'll keep going until I'm crawling. The home nurse was here today and taught me how to change his gauzes. I'm very proud at how well he is handling this. His birthday is this month and turning 52. We both know some have it harder but we know our own personal hells. Moving on...

So I have been watching movie after movie and enjoying the heck out of myself. I watched Snow Girl and the Dark Crystal and I am in love with that movie. I watched it on my laptop, but I'm going to watch it again on our big T.V. It has the most wonderful graphics and it's not too corny which is a big plus for me.

So I'm waiting for my wheat shells to thaw out so I can make dinner. Until we meet again...so long.

New show The Strain is on my brain?

I have a new TV show that at first I wasn't too sure about but as I keep watching its starting to grow on me a teeny tiny bit. It's called The Strain with a way different outlook on vampirism.

It seems that's the in thing now. Taking a subject for a show and altering it hoping to get a new following is what I'm guessing. My most joyous movie moment was when that tongue was pulled out of a guys mouth. Holy moly it was long!

It reminds me of Fear The Walking Dead which shows how it was the days before zombies began their munch. But I don't like the characters especially the teenage drug addict who could use a haircut.

It's taken almost all of season 1 to get used to the characters without me yelling inside my head...KILL HER SHE'S SO STUPID!!! I think I have grown callous watching so much horror, but stupid is stupid.

Season 1 there was some major weeding out of characters so we will see  how many bite it in Season 2, and if it gets any better. At least there are no sprinting vamps or zombies. That shits so dumb. Zombies that can run faster then when they were alive.

~Sob~Say it isn't so...

Goodbye, Wes Craven. I'm still so sad over his passing at in this day and age 76 years old is too soon. Damn you brain cancer! It's weird how where all his creative talent came from was attacked. Again another passing reminding me of my own mortality.

American Horror Story #FixThePlus

I am now officially caught up with American Horror Story. It's a perfect example of my personality to start something..then stop..wait...where did I leave off? Crap, gotta start over again which I tried with the Walking Dead but decided to, after sitting through season 1 & 2...again, I jumped up to season 4. Good enough I say.

Freak Show was the best Season yet. I stand in awe of the actors and how they can play so many different characters so well you forget who they were before.

I like what the freaks did to this one guy...yes I have already forgotten his name only remembering he died as a fairy killing, evil vampire in True Blood...at the end...oh what do you care.

He was turned into this tiny all I can say is a thing with feathers with his own head and I'm still mad it was so blurry I couldn't truly see his suffering.

It made me wince to watch "Dandy" die by drowning, but I loved the way he was in a glass box so you could see everything. What spoiled it for me were the "tidy whities". ~Yuck~ The butt were even a little baggy.<<<gagging.

Catching up my horror shows and watching them up to date as a popcorn-munching, well I used to before dentures, okay so chip munching, horror/supernatural movie lover, I'm quite proud of myself

So I'm going to take a nap now then when I get up a nice night of zombie binge watching is on my agenda.
